Wendell Wharton is a California licensed, N.C.C.P.A. board certified Physician Assistant with more than twenty-seven years of PA experience. He has eight years of full-time experience in Family Medicine; four years of full-time experience in Orthopedics; and three years of full-time experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology. He also has additional years of part-time clinical PA experience in Industrial Medicine and Urgent Care as well as part-time experience in Family Medicine, Orthopedics, and Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Mr. Wharton is a former PA program faculty member who received multiple awards for his outstanding teaching over the ten years that he spent in PA education. He also served as a PA Program Director for six years.
He is a current member and former officer of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the California Academy of Physician Assistants (CAPA). He is also a former officer of the Student Academy of AAPA. He was CAPA President in 1992 and Student Academy Secretary in 1978. He also served in the AAPA House of Delegates for twenty years from 1978 until 1998. |
